Creating pockets of bite sized beauty
Freelance artist and visual designer with a kaleidoscopic approach to all the big and little things.
An artist at heart, a poet in the mind and designer by profession, Adyasha is a communication design graduate from NIFT Mumbai, India.
Based in Pune she draws a lot of floral inspiration for her artwork. Very intuitive with an attention for detail, all her work draws deep inspiration from personal anecdotes.
Having trained in traditional mediums of acrylic paint for the majority of her younger years, it is only recently that she has begun experimenting with digital work.
This was what I was calling my Frida Kahlo summer, because it was all very floral and artsy, with flowy outfits and some really soft languid days. However, we all know, Frida Kahlo was not only about the beautiful things - she was all about wrenching timeless and heartfelt beauty, out of bone crushing pain. Now when I look back, it truly was a Frida Kahlo summer in a lot ways. I shot this during the first lockdown, and incidentally the first summer I truly spent at home without my mother. This was also the first summer where I sat face to face with grief and loss, until we became dear friends - dear enough to hold each other and dear enough to grow. This was also the first and only summer where this Laburnum tree was in a full bloom, bursting with yellow petals so soft it could cushion all the sharp edges of this world and protect all the fragile parts of me; in some ways this tree did what my mother would have done.

Art is, and always has been life.
I’ve been breathing and doing art ever since I can remember.
Art is home. Art is an escape. It is everything in between
It is my identity and it is also the reason behind the identity crisis.
Art is essentially a paradox. An oxymoron. It’s an endless conundrum.
