Was listening to Folklore - Taylor Swift and had to quickly sketch a moody, maybe even slightly melancholic scene in the woods.

Started with pen on paper, played around with hatching, some amount of shading and tonal changes while making full use of the texture of the sketchbook paper.

Slowly developed this into a digital illustration to reproduce as prints.
