Chai Tapri

An illustration of a “Chai Tapri” - a roadside tea stall found in every nook and cranny in India
The illustration was based on the blog post describing the various kinds people that flock to the stall.

The first illustration included all personalities and more described in the write up,
while the second one has fewer but more expressive characters.

The rough sketch for the illustration- Ideation was such that the teapot would represent the tea vendor + tea stall; the surrounding tea glasses (of cutting chai) are the frequent customers.

Characters

Each character / every different kind of person who visits the chai tapri is shown as a glass of cutting chai
with either an expression, accessory or affectation to bring the character to life.
